My strengths as a teacher come from the different aspects of my playing.
As a classical bassist, I can teach technique, reading music, playing
with an ensemble and following a conductor.
As a jazz-bassist I have a deep sense of rhythm, harmony, and theory,
and a wide range of experience with improvisation.
And as an active performer, I help students with playing in a band,
learning songs, and performing all kinds of music.
Also, as a composer, I can help students with song-writing ideas,
music theory, and different composition techniques.
Furthermore, I consider each student's goals to design a program that
reflects what they want to learn.
I also teach song-writing and composition, elementary-to-intermediate
guitar, and elementary piano.
